Welcome to part 2 of our blog series titled “Watch Me Earn Money with PLR”. We have a lot of ground that is going to be covered today.
We will start by opening the PLR and getting everything set up. You will be able to see my thought process, what I do when I open a PLR pack, and lots of other fun stuff.
Then we will move on the editing portion of the PLR. This is where you will watch me format the report the way that I see fit and you will get a peek at the final product.
As a reminder, even though I am creating multiple products, for the purposes of time I am only reformatting our ‘Paleo for Beginners’ pack because that is the one that needs the most work to become a new product.
Let’s Open Your PLR and Get Started
When you first look at your PLR product, you want to find your PLR rights and see what you are and are not able to do with your PLR. This only takes a minute and if you have any questions you should check in with your PLR creator.
After that is done, you will want to create a folder using the new title of your product and you will move the PLR folders into this new folder. For example, my PLR was titled ‘Paleo for Beginners’, but my title is ‘Your Paleo Meal Plan’. So I created a folder titled ‘Your Paleo Meal Plan’ and added the entire Paleo for Beginners pack there.
The only other thing I did to begin the process was create a new report cover image with the updated title and make sure that the report was renamed to reflect the new title.

Now it is Time to Work on the PLR Report and Adding the PLR Articles to Your Report
The thought of adding new chapters to an existing PLR report might seem intimidating, but the process is really very simple. For example, I knew that I would be merging articles into this report so I started by simply editing the table of contents in the PLR report to reflect the updated table of contents (after I added all of the articles).
Once I had that ‘rough layout’ in the table of contents, it was as simple as going through the report and adding the articles. I did take the time to make sure that the newly added articles were formatted the same way as the rest of the report and looked at a preview of the finished product.
After everything looked good I turned the new report into a PDF. The entire process took about 10 minutes.
